Coastal Essence is a new candles business. We will not have pictures up until we have purchases made of our candles. We make our candles when an order is made.

We apologize that you're not happy with your order. However, there are no refunds. We test out our products before they are available to the public so we can see for ourselves what is appropriate for sell and what is not.

No, we do not ship outside of the U.S due to the fact that we do not want to be scammed.

Of course! We never sell our candles without having a testing first. Just follow the directions on the label.

Never. Though it is a cheaper alternative, it isn't a healthy choice. Lead-cored wicks is now known to cause lead poisoning and there are certain rumors that zinc wicks aren't healthy either.

Currently, our candles are paraffin based. We will be making eco-friendly candles, however.

Please allow 1-3 business days to process an order. We will send a confirmation email stating when your order was shipped. If you purchase a track shipping number, we will email that you as well.

Coastal Essence does not sell products in bulk for a cheaper price, but you can make a special order. See in FAQ.

Coastal Essence appreciates your business and encourages you to not give up hope. If you have an order of $50 or more, email us at [email protected] to make a "special order." We would like it if you gave us a month in advance for big orders so we can make sure that all of your order is properly made and sent to you. If you do choose to make a special order, you will have to send the money by mail. Orders that are requested less than a month's advance must pay a $25 fee.

Because of the price of supplies, Coastal Essence relies on previous purchases. You can put your name on our "waiting list" by emailing us at [email protected]. Just email us with the subject "waiting list" and write to us your name, email, and the product you want. Sometimes we have a big waiting list, so please allow up to a month to get our shipment in. If you would like to get your waiting list items faster, you can send in the payment. If so, please wait up to 2 weeks for us to get our shipment in.

Being a new business, Kloud9 Fragrances is perfecting the color of each candle. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. But the color doesn't affect the candle itself. So don't be worried about the colors, you're order will be right every time.

Our website hours are 10 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday, but you can make an order 24/7. Our website hours gives us time to process all orders and get them shipped out in time. Usually, your order will ship that day. Our home store hours are 11 am-8 pm Monday-Sunday. These are for pick-up orders only. Please make an appointment before you come in so we have your order ready to go.

For the safety of you and others around you as well as possessions, candles should not burn thoroughly because the glass may break from the heat. However, to burn excess wax that can no longer be burnt with the wick, we recommend using a candle warmer.

In order to get the bubbles out of the soap during the pouring process, we must gently spray the soap with rubbing alcohol. Coastal Essence frowns upon added, unnatural ingredients. This gives you a more natural bar of soap with less additives.

Coastal Essence does not like to add extra unneeded ingredients to its products. The more natural the soap, the better it is for your skin.

Since our lip balm is homemade and hand poured, there are times where we poor too much or too fast. When this occurs, there will be lip balm over flowing or there will be bubbles. In order to make the lip balms presentable, we use a knife a thinly slice off the unwanted lip balm. This does not ruin the lip balm. If the lip balm is not "fixable," we discount them.
